What do I need in order to connect to my site via FTP?
In order to connect to your website via FTP, you will need some sort of FTP client software. You will also need to know your login, your account password, and the IP address/domain name assigned to your account.Where do I upload my files?
All of the files associated with your website must be placed in the "public_html" folder.How do I upload files to an addon domain?
FTP to your primary account. Go to the public_html directory and then to the directory/username you created for the addon domain. Upload the files.Can I upload files via an online file manager?
Yes. Login to your Control Panel (http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel/) and select "File Manager".How can I change my FTP password?
Your domain password is the password you use to log on to your Cpanel. You should change this occasionally to maximize your site security.To change your domain password:
Click on the change password button in your Cpanel.
Enter your current password in the old password field.
Enter your new password in the new password and new password (again) fields.
Click on the change your password now! button. Your password has now been changed.
How long does it take to change my password?
Once you get a confirmation page stating that your password has been changed, your new password is in effect.
